I am Dr. Regina Thomas, the founder of Setting Attainable Goals for Success (SAGS). With over two decades of experience in Welfare to Work, Drug and Alcohol, and Mental Health, my commitment to Human Services is evident. Specific professional roles have spanned clerical administration, case management, peer counseling, employment advising, clinical supervision, substance abuse counseling, and psychotherapy. As a proud alumnus of Springfield College for Human Service, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Human Service with a focus on Criminal Justice and Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Prior to establishing SAGS, I earned my Doctoral Degree in Psychology from Capella University.
As a Black American Female Psychologist, I bring a unique perspective and wealth of expertise to the field.
My mission as a Life Coach is to expose false beliefs about mental health therapy and explore alternative ways to help others reach their full potential. I assist my clients in finding and following their true passions and goals. I believe that everyone has the power to change their own lives and I am here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
I base my coaching on positive, mindful, intentional, and accountable principles. I partner with my clients to help them recognize their strengths, challenge their limiting beliefs and behaviors, and create realistic plans to reach their goals. I view coaching as a journey of self-discovery and offer a supportive and non-judgmental environment for my clients to examine their inner world.
